Dulux Decorator Centre has very kindly donated all paint and materials for the working party weekend. This is great support from them in brightening up key areas of our school. We still need your time and support to making this a success. We did the site survey today and two key areas of the school have been identified to be painted over the weekend. The corridor from the main entrance that runs up past year 2 classes and some external areas that need safety markings are the priorty. If by some miracle we complete these we can make progress on the corridor that runs left from the main entrance towards year 1 and reception classes. This includes walls and skirting. Thanks to those of you who have volunteered, at the last count it was about ten who can come along (or who have been 'volunteered'). The weekend of the 5th/6th August is pencilled in and will be confirmed this week once we've completed the site survey. Most of you have met our fabulous new Crossing Patrol hero (Lollipop Man to those of a certain age!), Christian McAleenan - but a lot of you won't know that Christian is a budding entrepreneur who has set up a very fine global Shirt business. His company provides an excellent subscription shirt delivery service with great quality dress shirts. He has recently sponsored a table and provided auction prizes at our recent Summer Ball and has been a fantastic support for the PTA.
