Amazing Christmas Fair raises £6,000 !

Thank you to everyone who planned, organised, designed, built, manned, volunteered and most importantly attended our fabulous Christmas Fair last Sunday

The school and the stalls looked wonderful and all of the staff, parents and children had a tremendous day.

Specific huge thanks to all the core team behind the scenes - Mandy Harries, Laura Drinkwater, Bev Butler, Vicki Brown, Owen Henshall, Martina Button and Paula Higginson who've been tirelessly working on this project for the last two months.

Also we'd like to thank Nick Humphries, Emma Rice, Zoe McNally, Belinda Henshall, Clare O'Brien, Krystyna Kocaj, Kate Quine, Karen Gough, Lisa Clarke and of course, our ace photographer Anthony Brown.

The PTA is also very grateful for the unwavering support of Mr McMorrow and all the staff at St Hugh's over the last eight weeks.

We don't have a "confirmed" final fundraising figure yet, but the last estimate was very close to £6,000 - which really is a fantastic result.

All of the money raised at the Christmas Fair will be invested directly back in to the school through various projects and initiatives.

This year , one of our major projects will be to help the school buy new hands-on IT resources to complement and enhance the teaching of the new ICT National Curriculum which will benefit all of our children across both Key Stage 1 and 2.
